    Why Do We...?

    Why do we pray aloud?
Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud, have mercy and be gracious to me and answer me. (Amplified, Psalms 27:7)
Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands towards they holy oracle. (Psalm 28:2)

Why do we pray as if we are at war?
And being in agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. (Luke 22:44)
(Jesus) Who in the day of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong cryingand tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared. (Hebrews 5:7)

Why do we speak to the invisible as visible?
While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things, which are not seen. For the things, which are seen, are temporary, but the things, which are not seen, are eternal. (II Corinthians 4:18)
Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, that light may get hold of the corners of the earth and shake wickedness of the right out of it? (Job 38:12-13)

Why do we clap out loud?
Oh clap your hands, all you people! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! (Psalms 47:1)

Why do we speak in tongues?
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophecy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. (I Corinthians 14:39-40)

Why do we encore our prayers?
    Because JESUS did!
And again HE (JESUS) went away, and prayed, and spake the same words (Mark 14:39).
Because the repeated cry of the blind Bartimaeus stood Jesus still.
And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. (Mark 10:49)
